The thesis deals with cooling of a flat plate using a synthetic jet (SyJ). The aim of this work is design and construction of an experimental device and measurement of heat transfer coefficient on the heated plate. The experiments are performed using hot wire anemometry. It is necessary to design an experimental device that enable to measure cooling of the heated plate; from this experiments heat transfer coefficient is calculated. In this thesis, following results are presented: - velocity profiles of the synthetic jet measured with hot wire anemometry in constant temperature mode, - heat transfer coefficient measured with the method used in work of Schotlen and Murray [13]. |
